Understanding Blockchain

»Understanding Blockchain« is an interactive Platform that makes you finally understand what Blockchain is and how it will affect your life in the future – without all the Crypto talk. We live in a society that is digitized in most parts of daily life. In this digital world, we have to trust systems that are controlled by a few companies, such as Google, Amazon or Facebook. Blockchain technology provides the ability to decentralize the Internet and return the data to the users. That’s why everyone is talking about Blockchain — but how exactly does it work? I found out that in the Blockchain Universe, there is kind of a lack of high quality visual communication explaining this important technology. Most existing work misses the important part: how will Blockchain affect our future daily life? Instead, the information is often displayed more complex than necessary. For my M.A. thesis, I created a prototype for a learning platform that deals with the important topics and opens Blockchain to everyone.
